They also identify potential weaknesses in the study's research design and methodology (Miles,2019). The first limitation was the potential that I might not gain access to confidential organizational documents to current leadership development training for mid-level managers, which would limit my data collection method. This study is centered on the leadership development of mid-level managers within a targeted nonprofit organization. As a researcher, I am limited to those currently in mid-level management or team lead positions looking to move up to be included in the study. The third limitation is that scheduling interviews with participants may be difficult. The final limitation is that participants may be reluctant to speak negatively about their organization.
