Research has shown that the lack of diversity in a workplace can lead to discrimaton behavior which lead to the Title of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that prohibits discrimination against people of certain races, color, religion, sex and national origin. With this act many organizations are placing a strong diversity policy and providing programs that will raise awareness of ongoing issues. Honeywell takes pride on being a diverse workforce which embraces people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and cultures, which it success depends on. They believe that diversity is a priority for their foundation that encourages employees to respect, understand and appreciate different viewpoints, backgrounds and experiences.
