ASSIGNMENT:

Patient education on Peptic Ulcer Disease for Middle adults with low health literacy. This activity will allow us to research gastrointestinal disorders and apply the nursing process to a client with a GI disorder. The assignment is an educational presentation to other nurses on your inpatient floor about a new client population that will be seen on the unit.

Minimum of five slides (one for each step of the nursing process)
Focus on an area where teaching is needed and often provided
Inclusion of an evidence-based article outside of assigned readings
