Given that we live in a multi-cultural society in New Zealand, every single one of us would have experienced different cultures, whether it is Maori, Tongan, Chinese, Dutch, or even Kazakh. You would have also noticed that culture matters whenever you tried to communicate with your family, friends, or lecturers. 

You are required to research different types of cultures in relation to Computing and IT: gaming culture, internet culture, and the impact that one culture of your choice has on the communication processes. 

Your task is to write a 5-page essay. It must include an introduction to the topic and conclude with a brief summary of what you have learnt. 

You are required to cite your material using APA 6 referencing, using a variety of sources, which must include at least 1 book and 4 valid articles. You would be expected to have at least 3 quotes and 6 paraphrases in your essay. Only up to 2 appropriate graphics may be included which must also be referenced and have a caption attached.
