2. ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW
Part 1:
Your IT firm has recently taken over the IT support contract with Mobile Car Doctors a mobile mechanic firm that operates simular business model toUber. Mobile Car Doctors is trying to grow their business into a global organisation.
Mobile Car Doctors currently have 15 staff; given their small size, they have attempted to do their best to keep their IT systems operational using internal staff.
As part of the support process, your firm has requested to create a cell phone app and manage their IT infrastructure.
Your team has been assigned the task of formulating a business continuity plan for NZ Media Ltd, primarily focusing on their IT systems.You have been requested to identify potential IT risks the business may face, and what contingency should be planned. You should aim to identify 5-6 security risks.
Mobile Car Doctors’ existing infrastructure currently consists of:
• 15 HP laptops
• 15 Samsung S10 smartphones
• a WRT54G wireless access point
• an unmanaged 24 port Ethernet switch
• an onsite Windows Server 2008 R2 server
• a laser printer
• an ADSLv1 Internet connection

Part 3:
Your group has been given the task to implement an auditable network and server deployment using Ansible playbooks. The playbooks needed include:
1.On a Ubuntu/Debian server:
a.Ensure apt is updated and upgraded to the latest version
b.Install a TFTP server
2.Assuming a Cisco router or switch has an existing configuration and you are able to connect via SSH:
a.Connect to the Cisco device
b.Upload a backup of the device to the TFTP server that you have created
3.Connect to AWS
a.Establish aUbuntu/Debian instance
b.Ensure apt is updated and upgraded to the latest version
c.Install a webserver, e.g. Apache2
d.Upload a basic html file to the http root, replacing the existing file
4.On a Windows computer
a.Ensure Chocolatey in installed
b.Using chocolatey, install VMWare Workstation
c.Upload a zipped virtual machine to the Windows VMWare Workstation
d.Extract the virtual machine
e.Modify/replace content in the VMX file to:
i.Change the virtual machine name
ii.Ensure the virtual machine is bridged to the lab network
f.Start the virtual machine
