Clothing Manufacture Production Operations

Aim

The aim of this unit is to enable learners to develop their skills and understanding of the manufacturing and quality control systems and processes used in the clothing industry.

Learning outcomes

LO3 Understand the merits of the different production systems currently used in the clothing industry

3.1 Analyse the merits of the different systems in current use in the clothing industry

3.2 Critically evaluate and compare the current use of systems in different contexts, summarising the benefits

LO4 Be able to produce an evaluative report based on research and analysis

4.1 Produce and present a succinct report which provides an accurate and coherent account of current systems used in the clothing. industry
