Question: Students identify an individual (an interviewee), who they believe has an interesting story to tell (either about their life, experiences, work, culture, view on life, etc.). Note this interviewee must not be another student ; however, the interviewee may be a student in another course. Do some background research about the interviewee.
Prepare several interview questions to ask the interviewee. The questions should not be questions to which the interviewee could answer ‘yes' or ‘no'. Use your questions to interview your chosen subject. Take notes during the interview. If you have their permission, you may wish to record the interview.
Following the interview, compose a 1000-word report about your interviewee, or their views, or their experiences, following typical formal essay conventions. It is up to you to compose this report using the responses to your interview, and your background research.
