Case: Research a legislative issue related to Human Resource Management that is currently pending in the United States Congress and prepare a formal letter (see format attached) addressed to the Congressperson elected to your Congressional District. Represenative Andre Carson

The letter should address your position on the proposed legislation (either in favor of the legislation or opposed to it) based on research. Please note: This is not just an exercise for this course; you are expected to either mail or email this letter to your Congressional Representative as well as submit it as an assignment in this course. (If you wish, you can share the response you received in the Reflection Discussion Board in Module 08.)

Your letter should be a minimum of 1-1/2 pages (single-spaced, using a 12-point font and 1-inch margins, approximately 750 words). Your assignment must conform to APA guidelines. Correct language mechanics (i.e., sentence structure, grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, word usage, and citations) are worth up to 10% of your grade on this assignment. See the sample letter attached for an idea of how to format your letter.

Please note: You are required to use a minimum of two (2) outside resources to improve your understanding of the legislation and enhance your letter. You must cite your sources according to APA guidelines.
