Research a figure from the old testament

Assignment:

Each student will choose a figure from the Old Testament and write a short research paper that: (1) provides a brief overview of their life, and (2) discusses this individual's contribution to the Jewish and/or Christian traditions. In your paper you must identify where this person appears in scripture.

Your paper will be graded on the basis of your interaction with the biblical passage itself (primary source) and your utilization of secondary sources.
