Request Refusal: Turning Down an Award-Winning Charity (L.O. 1-4)

As a vice president of a financial services company, you serve many clients and they sometimes ask your company to contribute to their favorite charities. You recently received a letter from Elliana Larios asking for a substantial contribution to Interval House Crisis Shelters & Centers for Victims of Domestic Violence. On visits to your office, she has told you about the model charity's programs to provide comprehensive domestic violence services in over 70 languages to individuals and families in Los Angeles County and Orange County.
