The report on the mini literature review (3 journal articles) will be assessed on how well the journal articles are integrated, analysed, discussed and leading to the research questions_that you will use in the interview. A literature review is not a summary of the articles so do not summarize the articles.

In terms of form, the criteria assessed will be proper use of headings. page numbers, proper referencing, free of spelling, grammar errors. correct bibliographic and reference citations. This part (format) has a weight of 15% of the total mark in the whole report.

In terms of fonnat, I Suggest you start with a heading called Introduction. In this section you define the topic of your assignment. the importance of the topic and a brief outline of how you are going to divide your document.

For example, the first section of the literature review will describe and discuss the existing concept (e.g. business opportunity) of the topic under study, the factors that influence the opportunity recognition, the process in which opportunities are recognized, etc.
All content must be referenced (it means you must insert the last name(s) of the authors from where you took the ideas from (and year of publication in bracket).

I suggest you provide me with a draft of one or two pages (a progress) of your literature review before you submit it. This must be done before the course ends. After the course ends. I will not provide any feedback on the assignment and you must submit it without the opportunity to see my comments. You may write up to 2,000 words in this section (literature review).

The second report will consist of the two interviews of entrepreneurs. You must elaborate relevant questions that emanate from your readings of the articles (literature review). Ibis part of the report will be maximum 1,500 words. You must analyse the information you collect, compare the content of the two interviews, make inferences, compare the findings of your interviews with what you read in the journal articles, if they are different explain why you think these differences occur. In your analysis remember that you must make inferences from the content of your interviews and this content is the evidence. Therefore your analysis must contain several quotes from the interviews which will be then analysed by you.

I suggest that you show me the questions you are going to ask previous to interviewing people, In many cases, students ask interviewees irrelevant questions. e.g. if the topic is on opportunity recognition they ask about opportunity exploitation.

This report must be submitted to the Examinations Office both in hard and a soft copy (in a disc). Make sure in the soft copy you only insert the report and the names of the authors. Do not include in the soft copy the assignment template because it will come out as plagiarism since everyone is using it. Do not attach the articles you read.
