Vibration 3D - Measurement
Search for Vibration Sensors
o We might need some information from Group 1 - kind of vibration to narrow down the variety of sensors.
o Before getting the information, we will look for any kind of vibration sensors.
o Research for software for 3D measurement.
o How to make up the structure of the 3D measurement
o Check whether FAST has their own sensors.
What we will research for:
1. Sensor: spec and mechanism of sensor, application/software needed, output data type / range.
2. Installation: location of sensor, how manyand which direction of sensors should be installed.
3. Software: How to monitor the data from sensorssuch as MATLAB
Fast team has the right to change any mechanical changes.
Need to find theoretical calculation of vibration impact from Group 1
What we need from other groups:
1. The exact dimension of the battery, battery weight in document
2. Specific point to calculate vibration, damage battery gets from varying vibration amount.
3. Types of vibration. Find resonance.
4. Timing of withstand of battery for certain vibration.
5. DIPTE--- find about it. Australian transportation standards.
Change of circumstance:
1. What will happen when wire would be added,
2. Need to find vibration for idea condition (without wire) and non-ideal condition (with wire).
About Armando's email regards: wire connecting will matter and change the scenario for having extra vibration in different directions.
