ASSESSMENT TASK - PROJECT REPORT

Strategic Human Resource Planning

INSTRUCTIONS:

In this assessment, students are required to prepare a written project report on Strategic Human Resource Planning of an organisation of their choice. They can select their own workplace for this project. This assessment aims to assess the knowledge and understand of students in:

• researching human resource requirement
• developing strategic human resource planning
• implementing human resource strategic plan

The project report can be in any format. However, the report should contain the following:

a) Brief background of the organisation, its major products and services, markets covered and competitor

b) Environment in which the organisation operates its functions

c) Legislations, rules and regulations applicable to the organization

d) Human resource policy and frameworks being implemented in the organization

e) Performance targets and expectations including the objective feedback on employees' performance related to their personal development plan

f) Learning, training and development programs

g) Maintaining the healthy workplace

h) Monitoring the human resource strategic planning including the cost and benefit analysis being used

Students will be given two weeks' time to complete the project report. Students can ask for additional help from the trainer in completing the project report.
