TOPIC: Report on a Project

Requirement: You are working in an Omani Consulting company and it has an extensive portfolio in consultancy and project management services for a period of over 30 years. The group has completed more than 1300 projects and its worldwide operations are highly recognized. Students will be divided in groups consisting 5 members in each. Every group is required to visit the website and select ONE project for this assignment. To avoid any overlapping, one representative from each group should get approval of their selected project from me through email.

The submission of this assignment will be made in the form of two documents; one Microsoft Word file and second Microsoft Project file. Guidelines about both these documents are described below.

1. Title of Selected Project
2. Start and End date
3. Weekend (Friday, Saturday)
4. List of Tasks (minimum 20) with specified Duration and Predecessors (FS, SS, SF, FF) in line with the Start and End date of the project.
5. Allocation of Resources (Human, Material, Equipment/Cost) for all Tasks.
• Show over-allocation of one resource
6. Apply Notes to minimum 2 activities.
7. Apply Constraints to minimum 3 activities
8. Add recurring tasks
9. Add note to one of the task " the allocated budget for miscellaneous task is OMR 400"

Draw Table of Project Statistics from Microsoft Project

Justification of your chosen activities like predecessors, constraints etc. (250 words)
