Note that an "employment multiplier effect" and "income multiplier effect" are different. You are only to discuss the employment multiplier and how it allows you to compare cities for economic issues. You must include in your one-page write up:

1. What is the employment multiplier and why is it important to community economic development?

2. How does the employment multiplier help or hinder public investment? What problems can it foreshadow in terms of either public or private investment?

3. Using your key categories for types of jobs created (i.e., direct, indirect, and induced) and moving beyond jobs created for plant/facility construction, describe the multiplier effects of two of the categories below (Pick two, describe it then describe the employment multiplier):
