Question

Many collective agreements are multi-year; however, we are concerned about being locked into agreement terms that will hinder our ability to remain competitive in a volatile industry. Moreover, we're hoping that employees will change their mind about the value of a union, and later decertify the Union. For these reasons, you are instructed to negotiate a one-year term in the new collective agreement for the Beer Company. Include an Opening Position, Target Position and Fallback Position.
