Japanese companies have always been thought to be reluctant to restructuring and radical changes. However, this statement is not entirely true as Japanese companies have been undergoing restructuring since the 1990s after undergoing an Economic Bubble burst. While it has taken time for Japanese companies to adopt the concept of restructuring from the West, the companies have embraced it as a way of remaining in business. Subsequent Japanese governments have also amended laws to ensure that companies remain afloat.
