Jill Taylor's account of her stroke and her recovery is truly remarkable. There are many links one can make to our daily existence, however for this course I found her ability to willingly enter into that "peace which surpasses all peace: fascinating. Scientists have demonstrated for some time specific neuroanatomy underlies our ability to have a religious or spiritual or (mystical) experience, and that when we claim to be one with the universe, or God, it is chemical in our brain.
