1. Is the CIMS project still the right answer (that is, sharing information across police agencies), despite the challenges they face with their current vendor? Should the police agencies involved continue to expend effort and resources to work toward their 'information sharing' goal? Should the Waterloo RPS just select the same solution as the other agencies? Justify your answers to these questions.
2. Should the Waterloo RPS terminate their relationship with ITG and absorb the sunk costs of the project? Keeping in mind that Waterloo RPS has other software ("legacy systems") developed by ITG outside of this project, is there any benefit to maintaining a relationship with ITG, even if it is not as part of the CIMS project?
3. Create a weighted factor model with at least 5 criteria and compare ITG, Niche, and Versaterm. Using your WFM, determine which vendor is right for WRPS as they move forward. Ensure that the criteria you choose are relevant to the case study. Explain why you chose the criteria you measured (they should make sense for the project objectives), and explain why you chose the vendor that you selected as the "winner".
4. What are the key challenges facing Chief Gravill as he moves forward with this project? Use information from the case to support why you think these will be his biggest challenges.
