Furthermore, considering the intent to conduct multiple statistical analyses the suggested minimal sample size of 88 for this study was adequate to answer research questions and test all research hypotheses. Procedures for recruiting participants will be by (1) sending a letter to the company requesting participation in the present study and (2) upon acceptance send all research material such as informed consent via email to the company. Upon agreeing to participate, participants will be required to complete demographics form, Job Stress Survey and Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1985; Spielberger & Vagg, n.d.).

Based on a power analysis for correlation a sample size of 88 is appropriate for answering the relational/correlation research questions and hypothesis (Buchner, et al., 1997; Leedy & Ormrod, 2005). In determining an adequate sample size to represent the total population and support generalization of results, a priori power analysis was completed (Buchner, Erdfelder, & Faul, 1997). In utilizing a G*Power correlation analysis a medium effect size of .30, alpha level of .05, and power of .90 calculates the suggested sample size as 88. A medium effect size of .25, adjusted alpha level of .10, and power of .80 for ANOVA analysis suggests a sample size of 102. It was expected that 100% of participant response were unlikely and as a result the entire population that met inclusion criteria were selected to participate in the present study.

Inferential statistics allow the researcher to present the data obtained in the research in statistical format to facilitate the identification of important patterns and to make data analysis more meaningful. According to Sekaran (2003), inferential statistics is employed when generalizations from a sample to population are made. The statistical methods used in this research include the Pearson Product Moment Correlation, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and the T-Test. The data for this study will be analyzed utilizing analysis of variance (ANOVA), correlation and regression to test the hypotheses generated for the study. The present study focused on the population of interest in a uniquely diverse working environment. Survey questionnaires will be utilized in the present study. The data will allow research variables to be measured and statistically analyzed to determine significance (Gibson, Buckler, & Chakrapani, 2010).

Quantitative Non-experimental Study The results of this study may help support, design and develop precautionary programs to recognize and identify stress and its associated consequences in the work environment. In addition, research findings may help increase support for education and training in decreasing and resolving current stress issues and its affiliated strains in the work environment. The purpose of the present study was to identify significant differences and examine the relationship between demographic variables, stress and job satisfaction among male and female employees of an organization. Data for this study will be generated by a demographics form, Job Stress Survey and Job Satisfaction Survey (Spector, 1985; Spielberger & Vagg, n.d.).
