You are the DON and work in a 201 bed long term care facility that is part of an organization the owns 32 other nursing homes. Each facility has a nursing home administrator that is the in charge of the building and under the administrator there are directors of specific department who are responsible to ensure their department is meeting facility expectations and regulatory compliance. The director of nursing oversee the clinical and regulatory aspects of all nurses on all shifts.
