Using my scattergram you can see the relationship is a negative correlation. Seven hours of sleep is the average amount of time you need of rest as an adult. As a child, may need more such as up to 14 hours of sleep. The relationship is negative because as you move along the x-axis toward the greater numbers,the points move down which means the y-values start to decrease.
