Run a chi-square analysis to determine whether there is are relationship between the candidate people voted for in the 2012 presidential election (Barack Obama or Mitt Romney) and their opinions about how well elected officials (politicians and court officials) are doing at controlling crime rates, then do the following:
a) State the null and alternative hypotheses.
b) Identify the obtained value of the chi-square statistics.
c) Make a decision about whether you would reject the null hypothesis of independence at an alpha level of 0.01 for each and explain how you arrived at those decisions
d) State the substantive conclusion(s) that you draw from the results of each of these analyses in terms of whether there is a relationship between the variables.
e) If you rejected the null hypothesis, interpret row percentages and applicable measures of association. How strong is the relationship? Would you say that this is a substantively meaningful relationship?
Let (X, Y, Z) be a point chosen uniformly within the three-dimensional unit sphere. Find the marginal distributions of (X, Y ) and X.
: Demographic data are collected for every study. What is the purpose of describing the demographic data?

Based on these sample data, construct a 90% confidence interval estimate for the true population proportion.

Calculate the standard deviation of the sample mean for samples of size 1, 4, 25, 100, 250, 500, 1000, and 5000. Graph your results with the sample size on the x axis and the standard deviation on the y axis.
Consider a series of n independent repeated Bernoulli trials at which the probability of success at each trial is p.
