For this task, you will begin researching your topic. The relationship between poverty and crime rate in the United States of America

One of the most recurrent problems in today's society is criminality, which affects many citizens of the United States of America on a daily basis. In this sense, there is a conception that associates poverty levels with the crime rate existing in the country. Due to this, I consider that it is an interesting research topic since a study can be established about the empirical relationship between both problems in America.

For this reason, is the crime rate intrinsically associated with the poverty index according to demographic variables in the country? In spite of this, socio-economic conditions may not be the main cause of crimes, so different approaches to this problem will be considered to address the issue in a broad manner. In this way, the evidence will be taken from peer-reviewed articles that scientifically support the object of study and what has been the trend in recent years.

For this purpose, the research strategy is to link the empirical variants on crime with poverty rates in certain areas of the United States, which will allow knowing more details about how this negative social phenomenon develops. Thus, the documentation will be based on the statistical interpretation and the socio-economic approach involved in poverty to deepen on this topic. Also, the sources of research will be the various libraries that are available online.

In this way, the parameters of the investigation will be approached from the empirical view of the problem, and the MLA format will be used to elaborate the documentation of the same so that the exposed information is standardized in academic terms. Finally, the selected sources will provide a broad conception of the relationship between poverty and. crime, so a list of possible references to evaluate for the preparation of the research will be offered.
