Given the example of a wait time calculation, which option would you choose to bring down the wait time? Would you change the process or change the staffing? Please explain your reasons for the option you selected.

Here's the formula to calculate the relationship between demand, capacity, and wait time:

D= Hourly demand, or the number of patient arrivals

C= Hourly capacity of the total system (defined as the D = C× (1 + Wt) that can be handled in any given hour or the average rate of patients
processed per hour per technician multiplied by the number of technicians)

Wt = Wait time, in hours
