This document gives some very basic tips for describing the relationship between two variables, You can use the tips in the stage 3 assignment , just be sure to mention any possible issues with your analysis
If you are analysing the relationship between 2 variables there are 3 possible cases.
Case 1: If you want to the relationship between two categorical variables compare the proportions of the different groups
Case 2: If you want to find the relationship between a categorical and numerical variable you can compare measures of center and spread for each of the group.
Case 3: If you want to find the relationship between two numerical variable you can produce a scatterplot describe any patterns (page 2 has some examples of patterns)If you want to investigate the relationship between numerical variables you can use a scatterplot, In simple terms if you are asked to describe the relationship between two numerical variables there are 4 possible answers, positive linear, negative linear, nonlinear and no relationship
Case 1 working with two categorical variables
If you have a dataset with different categories, it is very common to want to compare the categories
Case 2 working with a categorical variable and a numerical variable.
As another example If you have one numerical such as the time spent on the cardio machine and one categorical variable such as gender male/female you should compare a measure of center and measure of spread
Case 3 working with two numerical variables
If you have two numerical variables such as the time spent on the cardio machine and time spent on weight machine you can check if they are related with a scatterplot

Cultural and ethical differences-discussion
: Ethical lapses are often confused with ethical dilemmas! In application, these are two very different things. An ethical lapse is a failure to behave in an ethical way in some specific situation, while an ethical dilemma is a situation in which no..

Determine the relative permeability under this condition
: A magnetic circuit made of radiometal is subjected to a magnetic field strength of 5000 At/m. Using the data given in Fig. 4.16 , determine the relative permeability under this condition.

Discuss the assumptions of the statistical test used
: Locate a scholarly journal article in the Capella University Library, preferably in your career specialization, that reports quantitative statistics. Although the article does not have to be based on a true experiment, it should report either a fa..

Calculate the coil current required
: A circular toroid of mean diameter 25 cm and csa 4 cm 2 has a 1.5 mm air gap in it. The toroid is wound with a 1200 turn coil and carries a flux of 0.48 mWb. If, under these conditions, the relative permeability of the toroid is 800, calculate the..

Determine the flux density in the 17 mm length section
: A 50 turn coil is wound on to the second section and carries a current of 0.4 A. Determine the flux density in the 17 mm length section if the relative permeability of the silicon iron under this condition is 3000.
