She sustained a closed head injury, which resulted in a 2 week coma. However, she is now awake, alert, and oriented x3. In addition, she had fractures to her right femur, tibia, and radius. The leg fractures were stabilized with external devices, and she has a cast on her right arm from below the elbow to her hand. She is ordered "no weight bearing on the right leg. OOB to chair for all meals. May ambulate to bathroom with assistance. Instruct use of walker." Goals of rehab care are reconditioning and independence in mobility and ADL's.
