You are a registered migration agent and run a busy practice. You are in the process of hiring another registered migration agent to assist you with your files as there are many different queries coming in that cover a broad range of issues and you are finding it difficult to be able to competently assist with the queries given the amount of time the research and analysis takes for each case. You have a number of clients today and it seems like the theme of the day is clients forgetting when their visas expire. The first client for today is a citizen from South Korea who arrived in Australia three years ago to study a bachelor's degree. He has been accepted into the Master's program and is very excited about it. He is even more excited because he has secured a scholarship to undertake the Master's program. As he was busy applying for the scholarship, he forgot when his Student (Temporary) Class TU Subclass 500 visa expired. When you speak to your client and probe a little further into his circumstances, you soon realise that he is able to commence his scholarship program next semester or even mid next semester.
