Assignment - Innovation and Creativity

This assignment is in two parts. The first part is a Reflection Report on our innovative and creative product (Keyless entry App), which allows the individual with the App to access all the entry points such as house door, car door, etc automatically as he / she approaches it. The report needs to be in detail and good use of diagrams and models which are relevant and appropriate to an innovative / creative product. Part 2 is a PowerPoint presentation which must follow the information provided in the question and must in the structure indicated at the bottom of the assignment brief attached. All work must of a good standard, well structured and well written.

Part 1: Reflection Report

The product for this assignment that I have selected is a 'Keyless' entry app. Which allows anyone (once data has been entered about the individual) allows all doors that the app is linked to, to open automatically as the person approaches. The App simply allows all the entry points for the individual like the house door, car door, gym door, library doors, café doors etc to open. The App would need to be connected to all the places / locations that the individual frequently visits.

The assessment is a reflection report that will be on developing an innovative business. The innovative product or service proposed should be clearly presented and defined. It could be a new or an improved product or service, including all innovation and creativity parameters required for its business success. For example: the internal and external corporate and industry environment of the innovation proposed, the resources engagement, process development for the innovation proposed, the creative idea evaluation, and the measuring framework for the innovation proposed. The related change tools and innovation models should be present to support your report.

Part 2 - The PowerPoint presentation

There will be an individual 10 minutes presentation followed by questions and answers of 5 minutes maximum time (30% of your grade scheme) where you will present the necessary business and/or technological application of your product/service innovation according to your report.

Emphasis will be placed on both your presentation content and your skills and ability to defend your work.

For Part 2 the presentation - The structure of the presentation should include the following points:

Company's external environment.

Company's internal environment.

Your innovative product / service: and the innovation model you adapted for your product / service.

Your target market.

Your value proposition of the product / service.

Learning outcomes covered: To present and analyse the strategic process and business informatics necessary for creating novel ideas with commercial viability.
