After reviewing and reflecting on my experiences in the workplace. There is one theory that I prefer over the other, that is human resource theory. The idea that managers can bring out the creativity in people to provide more productivity is what is needed in the workplace. Especially at the current stage of my career, I want to discover my untapped potential to help with my future career. However, in my current workplace, the human relations theory is more prevalent. It's hard to bring new ideas and creativity to a place that doesn't like certain changes. However, providing an environment that is safe and productive for employees is a plus. There is a bit of classical theory in my work environment as well. It is a clear-cut job every single day. There's barely room for some creativity in some areas. So at times, the workplace makes me feel like a zombie. However, I hope the newer managers who have stepped in break apart the need to not listen to employee inputs. They have started to implement ideas that previous managers have neglected to do which will improve the attendance. I am still waiting to see if they.
