Question: Lynda is a new teacher. She recognizes that in order to become an effective teacher, she must never stop learning. She strives to improve her teaching practice by learning from and with others and exploring current and emerging practices that leverage technology to improve student learning. She also recognizes that technology that connects people, data, content, resources, expertise, and learning experiences, can empower her to become a more effective teacher for her students. As a lifelong learner, Lynda has set clear and specific goals for applying new learning to her practice. She is pursuing professional interests by creating and actively participating in local and global learning networks and is using her connections to stay current with research. Lynda plans to continually learn about, test, and add into regular practice a variety of proven, promising and emerging learning strategies that use technology.
