Business still needs to know how long it takes to produce its products and provide its services. Business still must schedule work through the facility; business still must maintain appropriate inventory levels; business still must determine a fair day's wage for a fair day's work; business still must measure how effectively it uses its resources; and business still must determine how much it costs to produce each product or each service it produces. We cannot do this without trained, qualified engineering personnel.
