27 y/o patient presents to the clinic with a six-month history of sudden, recurrent episodes of intense fear, chest tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, and a racing heart. She reports that these episodes, which she describes as "panic attacks," occur without warning and last about 10-20 minutes. During each episode, she fears she is having a heart attack or about to die. Afterward, she feels extremely anxious and exhausted.
