NEED HELP IN RESPONDING TO DISCUSSION

When looking at a recruitment plan, it is the same for both internal and external. The process needs to involve matching the employee's KSAOs (knowledge, skill, ability, and other characteristics) to organizational needs (Heneman, 2019, pg. 271). A primary source of recruitment is advertising. This can be done by ads in the newspaper, social media sites, or flyers posted. Recruitment can be done by the company searching career websites for potential candidates. By searching career websites, there is lower cost meaning the budget will not be affected. Another form of recruitment is current employees referring individual they know outside of the company. If the candidate is hired, the referring employee could receive a bonus since the recruitment cost the company very little. Another affective may for recruiting potential candidates is job fairs. Job fairs booths are inexpensive to set up and allows recruiters to talk face-to-face with several candidates in a single day (McConnell, 2020).
