Dominique Clement decides to employ a new accounting graduate named Aki to manage the day-to-day bookkeeping of the restaurant.

Aki receives a gross salary of $600 per week for 30 hours of work. In addition, she receives $40 per hour for any hours greater than 30 hours if she is required to work. Dominique withholds payroll tax at a rate of 20% and contributes 10% of Aki's gross wages for Superannuation

In her first pay week ending on 3 May 2021, Aki worked 35 hours. PAYG Withheld Payroll tax and superannuation are paid at the end of each month (31 May). Aki is paid on 3 May.
