Working with your team members, examine the box of "beads" given to you for this activity.

a. Choose one color of bead, say red, which seems to occur relatively often in the box.

b. Select a random sample of 10 beads from the box, recording the sample proportion of red beads.

c. Repeat the sampling procedure four more times, for a total of five sample pro, portions for red beads. Each sample should be returned to the box before the next is selected, since all samples are supposed to come from the same population.

d. Record the five sample proportions, and give the results to the instructor.
