Question - Hamilton Ltd. issued 5.4% $ 800,000 5 year bond that pays interest each September 30 and March 31. The bond was dated April 1, 2021. The bonds were issued (to yield 5%) on August 1, 2021.

The accounting period ends on December 31. On March 31, 2022, the company redeemed 25% of the bonds at 105 after the interest is paid to the bondholder.
