Decision Analysis Paper

This assignment involves a decision problem that matters to you. This problem must be identified, defined, articulated, and solved. You will submit an 8- to 10-page Decision Analysis Paper in 3 parts. Part 1, 2 and 3

Part 1

For Part 1 write a 2- to 4-page paper that identifies an important decision you need to make. It can be a decision associated with your doctoral program, your dissertation research, your work, your family, your community, or any other area of your life. Include in your paper the following:
o A description of the decision you need to make
o A description of the stakeholders involved
o A description of the decision environment
o An explanation of whether this is an individual or group decision

Part 2

For this part, write a 4- to 6-page to determine:
• "States of nature" of the decisionwith corresponding likelihoods.
• Potential alternative solutions to the problem.
• The utility or payoff associated with each alternative.
• Provide a decision tree that captures your decision problem.

Part 3
For this part:
• Solve the decision problem.
• Provide a plan or recommendations for communicating and executing the decision.
