One method I would use for record-keeping is a file system that is clearly labeled by the classroom. I would file sign-in and sign-out sheets in the order they are completed that way it is easy to find if needed to be pulled for a specific week. When filing important information, I would always ensure to file by date and label by month or by year depending on how long the files need to be kept. Each child would have their own file for important paperwork that is needed for licensing and records of any conferences that were had also. Another method I would use to organize paperwork is a filing system on my computer, I use this for personal filing when it comes to the many types of different information that I receive on a daily basis. I have folders separated and labeled clearly just in case for some reason I am not available and I could direct a person to find the information that is needed.
