Your task is to audit an already completed (or ongoing) project of your choice. Use your knowledge and research of project management, to evaluate the performance of the project team and recommend improvements for future projects based on your evaluation. Based on your evaluation, you will provide recommendations for better project team performance. Project teams to evaluate may include maybe you can identify a student group that recently worked on a project, or a team of faculty members recently involved in a project. If you working, is there a project that recently took place in your workplace that you are privy to? If you are part of an organization (religious, faternal, etc) is there a project that was recently attempted? Are you yourself connected with a recent project in any form? Keep in mind, the project team cannot be a single person. It must involve a team to qualify for this assignment. Please check with me to see if your idea qualifies if you are unsure. Also note, you may work on this final assignment individually or in a group of two. Project Execution Aim of this phase is to reach project goals according to the defined plan, resources, time, and budget. Continuous monitoring needed to ensure project stays on track. Plans vs actual must be noted. Changes must be documented and approved by stakeholders. Project Completion Aim of this phase is to ensure project deliverables are acceptable and meet customer expectations, and are ultimately delivered to the customer. Word document similar to WBS Project Schedule developed in Excel Word document show itemized list of costs and total budget. Document similar to Responsibility Matrix Evidence The project team identified all tasks the project would require as well as who would be responsible for the tasks. The project schedule shows key dates including a start date of 1/22/2018 with a final deadline of 3/14/2018. The project budget was outlined with a total cost of $175. The budget was low as most required resources were donated. Some team members wanted to jump directly into executing the work without properly planning. The project manager addressed the issue and conducted two planning sessions.
