Recode ces08_CPS_S18B_ISR (ISR Income Categories) into a new variable called Low_Inc so that everyone who earns less than $30,000 is coded as 1 and labelled (low income) and everyone who earns $30,000 or more is coded as 0 and labelled (non-low income), you are missing, no answer, don't know, etc. categories should be carried over and then set as "missing" in the new variable. Are low income respondents over represented among non-voters (i.e. do they make up a statistically significant greater proportion of the non-voters than they do of the entire sample)? Why or why not do you think this is the case?
