Jane is a 25 years old student at the local community college. She grew up in a foster home from the age of 9 weeks. She recently reconnected with her biological family and moved in with her sister three weeks ago after her residential placement fell apart. Jane was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth and at the age of 6 years was diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Jane left her residential placement because she felt all of the staff were mean and she would not work with them. One of the problems was that when staff would remind her of some of the rules around no coming home drunk she would fly into a rage and try to physical abuse the staff. Jane is very aware of the rules that she was required to follow at her past placement but always told anyone that would listen that staff were targeting her and being unfair. When Jane starts to aggress on someone she will spit, swear at them, and try to hit them. However, just as quickly the aggression comes on, it will stop. Jane can shift and start laughing at the person she was angry with, call them her best friend even start crying saying she cannot live without them.
