Because you are new, you gladly assist. As weeks pass, you notice your coworker repeatedly leaves the floor for large portions of the day, requesting you to "watch their patients" while they are away. Feeling burned out, you decide to speak with the floor manager You are the new graduate nurse in the scenario mentioned above. 12. Using the DESC Script, demonstrate how to initiate the meeting with the floor manager. 13. At the end of your shift, the aforementioned coworker approaches you. Seemingly upset, they say, "If you had a problem, you should've just talked to me. You didn't have to talk to the boss." Demonstrate how you would respond. 14.
