Part 1
Empathize: Now that you have a client (they signed the release), you must interview them. In this interview ask the following types of questions:
Ask: Where, when, what about their wellness experiences at work. Ask: Tell me about the last time you received wellness information from your organization. All of your questions should not be about messages, I'm just giving you an example.
Have them tell you a story about a good or bad experience related to meeting wellness goals.
Ask why several times to follow up on a comment. If you don't ask why you won't have enough info to ideate.
Do not ask yes/no questions and expect to get a good grade. Do NOT ask things like,
"Do you hate exercising (leading the client). Instead ask things like, "What "What types of challenges do you have meeting your exercise targets?"
Type up your interview and client description (generally describe your client-Bob an engineer who works in a design studio. He has been with his employer 10 years) and upload it to our Moodle site at the appropriate place in Week 6 10/8 at 11:59 p.m.). This is worth 25 points and gives me a chance for me to provide written feedback. If I don't think you have enough info to go to the next step I will ask you to chat with your client more and I will subtract points for not focusing on the prompt and directions. Be sure to include the client descriptor and have typed questions and answers for my review. All questions must focus on the prompt and you should have at least 10 questions. Your interview should take approximately an hour.
