Last month, my good friend Mike was telling me about his real estate investment strategy. He said that he is thinking of buying a condo on the Seattle waterfront that currently has a view of Elliot Bay that is blocked by the Viaduct (raised highway). He believes that when the Viaduct is torn down in the first quarter of 2019, the value of this condo will increase dramatically and he will be able to sell it and make a big profit.
