One case illustration spoke about one client's lateness to work, and school was viewed as resistant, oppositional, and unmotivated. Still, she just needed to learn to manage her time more accurately. By giving her brain assistance with pictures and fun, creative reminders, she was able to learn to execute actions that got her places on time. What can clinicians do to ensure there isn't anything causing a clinician to jump to conclusions as they did in the book's illustration and allowing biases to taint the picture of what may be going on with one of the types of clients mentioned?
