What are some common signal phrases to introduce research and data? What steps can you take to ensure you've used them often enough and with enough variety?

2. Using a combination of sentence styles helps the writing flow and allows the reader to follow more easily the writer's train of thought. How frequently do you vary the structure of your sentences? Do you think you give readers a good variety of sentence structures?
