As a human services professional, it is important to identify the skills needed to develop and implement policy. In the "Real Life Human Services" section of Chapter 7, you were introduced to Hayley Summer, the Founder and Director of Berkshire Horse Works, Inc., which is a nonprofit organization that utilizes equine therapy techniques to work with children and adolescents who have struggled with mental health issues.
