Please read the following case study on Wild as a Tasmanian:
There are many different beach resorts out there, each offering an array of various activities and attractions, but what separates the exceptional from the original? To stick out of the crowd, at least a little, resorts will try to increase their focus on sustainability, location, service and food. Go to the Freycinet Peninsula on the east coast of the island Tasmania and you will find out only magnificent surroundings but an unbelievable resort that encompasses all of its beauty, the Safire Freycinet. Island Magazine ranked the Safire Freycinet as number one on its Top 10 New Resorts, and not without good reason.
One of the amazing features about the Safire is that it is surrounded by the Freycinet National Park, with water around you close enough to gaze upon migrating whales and dolphins from the comfort of your bed. The unique design of the Safire mimics the waves, mountains, and sand dunes, giving its guests the feeling that they are part of the National Park around them. Opened in April 2010, the Safire has 20 free-standing luxury suites, offering an unforgettable view with a comfortable place to enjoy it.
