Unfortunately, we all know someone that is suffering from a terminal illness or has passed away as a result of one. I often read articles that talk about drugs that may potentially cure or prevent these illnesses. These articles can be exciting when you think about the possibilities but they often end with a statement similar to this "the FDA has yet to approve this drug...".

For this week I would like you to take a position as to if federal regulation is needed for drugs.
